Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Zeroahead LLC (“the Company,” “we,” “us”) for your use of the ZeroAhead app and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What ZeroAhead is

ZeroAhead is a debt-payoff planning tool. Based on the numbers you enter — income, bills, debts, and spending — it suggests a plan and next steps. ZeroAhead provides educational planning guidance only. It is not financial advice, and we are not a financial advisor, lender, or credit counselor. Always consider your own circumstances or consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

ZeroAhead never moves your money. You make all payments to your lenders directly, outside the app. We are not responsible for payments you make or fail to make.

2. License and ownership

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. The app, its design, text, and graphics are owned by the Company and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer the Service except as permitted by law.

3. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Household sharing

If you invite another adult to your household, both members can view and change the same debts, plan, and progress. Only invite someone you trust with this information. Either member may leave the household at any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to disrupt, hack, or reverse-engineer the Service.
  • Enter someone else’s personal information without their consent.
  • Misrepresent the Service as professional financial advice.
  • Use the Service if you are located in a country embargoed by the United States or are on a U.S. government restricted-party list.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately; your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zeroahead LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

7. Your data

You own the data you enter. You can export it (Profile → Export my data), reset your plan (Profile → Start over), or delete your account and data (Profile → Delete my account) at any time. How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability

We aim to keep ZeroAhead available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Zeroahead LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (CURRENTLY ZERO, AS THE SERVICE IS FREE).

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

12. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Service. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets; you may not assign them without our consent.
